Due to the Toei Animation breach, the official Twitter accounts for the One Piece and Digimon Ghost Game anime announced on Tuesday that Fuji TV will not air new episodes of the two shows on March 20. Instead, Fuji TV will play a rerun of One Piece's "Special Episode: Barto's Secret Room" recap special on March 20, with the channel announcing that it will air more "Wano Country Best Selection" reruns or recap episodes after that. The initial episode of Digimon Ghost Game will be re-aired on Fuji TV on March 20, and the broadcaster plans to air more "Digimon Ghost Game Selection" rerun episodes after that, according to the statement. Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 Anime Season 2's Teaser Unveils
On Thursday, Netflix launched a teaser trailer for the second season of the Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045 anime. The teaser announces the season's main cast, as well as the season's premiere date on Netflix worldwide in May. Millennium Parade will perform the theme songs, including the "Secret Ceremony" opening theme song featured on the show.
The Millennium Parade project of Daiki Tsuneta is performing both the opening and closing theme songs, "Secret Ceremony" and "No Time to Cast Anchor." Millennium Parade members Sh Sasaki and Yhei Kanbe are directing the opening sequence, which is also produced under Tsuneta's creative label PERIMETRON. The music is now being composed by Flying Dog, alongside Sony Music Labels contributing on the theme songs.
At Production I.G and Sola Digital Arts, Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Aramaki are directing the project once again. The character creator is Russian cartoonist Ilya Kuvshinov (The Wonderland). The music is composed by Nobuko Toda (Sweetness & Lightning, The Case Files of Jeweler Richard) and Kazuma Jinnouchi (Busou Shinki: Moon Angel). Toda and Jinnouchi collaborated on the Ultraman anime, while Toda is most known for writing music for the Metal Gear Solid series with Harry Gregson-Williams. The Halo 4 and Halo 5 games' soundtracks were also composed by the duo.
Masamune Shirow is once again credited as the original creator of the Ghost in the Shell manga, and the returning scriptwrtiers are Kamiyama (Eden of the East, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex), Ryou Higaki (The Eccentric Family, Moribito - Guardian of the Spirit), Kurasumi Sunayama (Yowamushi Pedal, Gurren Lagann), Harumi Doki (Ultraman, Cyborg 009 Call of Justice), Dai Sato (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, Eureka Seven), and Daisuke Daitō.

With 12 episodes, the first season released on Netflix worldwide in April 2020. Maki Terashima-Furuta, president of Production I.G. USA, previously stated in an interview that the anime would have two 12-episode seasons, one directed by Kenji Kamiyama (Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex) and the other directed by Shinji Aramaki (Appleseed). The first season's compilation film, Kkaku Kidtai SAC 2045 Jizoku Kan Sens (Ghost in the Shell: SAC 2045 - Sustainable Warfare), aired in Japan on November 12 for a limited two-week run in 20 theatres.
